SITE BASED VOLUNTEER & EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS

Supporting adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that have significant behavioral and social challenges.

The programs center on supporting participants in meaningful work through various channels such as volunteerism, internships, paid employment and/or microenterprise opportunities.

1:3 staff ratio provided. Services and supports are provided Monday through Friday for 5.5 to 6 hours per day at a licensed site and/or in the community. Transportation to and from program is offered by People’s Care.

COMMUNITY BASED VOLUNTEER & EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS

PERSONAL ASSISTANT SERVICES (PAS)

1:1 support services provided to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that have significant behavioral and social challenges.

Individuals may be of any age to receive PAS supports. Services may be provided in the home and/or in the community with the number of hours provided per month determined by the individual, their Regional Center and circle of support. Schedules are personalized and established based upon the individual’s needs and goals. Typical shifts do not exceed 6 hours per day.

COMMUNITY INTEGRATION TRAINING (CIT)

1:1 support services provided to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that have significant behavioral and social challenges.

Individuals may be of any age to receive CIT supports. Services are provided solely within the community with the number of hours provided per month determined by the individual, their Regional Center and circle of support. Schedules are personalized and established based upon the individual’s needs and goals. Typical shifts do not exceed 6 hours per day.
